Community

In addition to our vast array of client work, at Stubbings we are committed to giving something back - both to the local communities where we work as well as the industry as a whole.

We regularly donate to Maidenhead Food Share, as well as supporting numerous client initiatives. From supporting events such as a client's annual sports event to sourcing local gift vouchers for new residents to support local, independent stores and raising funds for charity, we believe it's the little touches that can make all of the difference.

Supporting young talent
Encouraging and supporting young people looking to join the new homes industry is one of our passions and we regularly invite work experience students to come and work alongside us, gaining a real insight into how the new homes market works and the variety of roles it encompasses.

Careers days
We also support a number of local schools and regularly participate in careers days and interview sessions, designed to inform and support pupils considering a future in construction. We have participated in a number of events and initiatives set up by Learning to Work. Our Managing Director is also a Governor at Burchetts Green School.

Local sponsorship
Based in Marlow, Stubbings is proud to sponsor a number of local sports clubs to include: Littlewick Green Cricket Club, Marlow Rugby Club and Maidenhead Hockey Club. In fact, on a volunteer basis, our team dedicates a number of hours every week to assisting Maidenhead Hockey Club with its PR and marketing. Our Managing Director is also a director at the Club, and coaches for the under 10s and under 12s.

Volunteering
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our team members participated in volunteer initiatives including Magpies in the Community in Maidenhead and St Saviour’s Food Bank in Sunbury. Three members of the team have also given up their time to volunteer at our local vaccination clinic - having a real impact on the local community, within which we are based.

This year, the team at Stubbings Property Marketing is very proud to be sponsoring the Local Hero award, at the Maidenhead and Windsor Business and Community Awards. The community awards are brand-new for this year and have been created to celebrate some of the amazing individuals and groups in our local community - highlighting everything from acts of kindness to inspirational stories of bravery.
