Phase two at Waterside PlacesBrentford Lock West development in west London has been awarded a prestigious RIBA national award, making this the development’s sixth RIBA award and second national.

The highly acclaimed RIBA awards are regarded internationally as a mark of excellence. A RIBA National Award is given to buildings across the UK, which the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) believe have made a significant contribution to architecture.

Phase two at Brentford Lock West, which was designed by Mae Architects was commended by the judges for being “well planned” and for delivering a “pleasant quality of natural light”. The entrance halls to the four bedroom townhouses got a special mention, for offering an “unusually generous and versatile space”.
