Stubbings supports Windsor Girls School’s World of Work Insight Conference

Earlier this month, our Managing Director Helen Todd was back in the classroom as part of the Learning to Work team, delivering a Year 10 World of Work Conference for pupils at Windsor Girls School.

The conference, which was organised by the youth development charity Learning to Work, drew on the knowledge and experience of a group of business volunteers. All of the volunteers gave up their time to meet with students and run a series of workshops on the key skills and attributes that future employers will be looking for as they enter into the world of work.

Helen Todd, Managing Director, Stubbings Property Marketing, said: “It was amazing to work with the Year 10 students talking about the skills, qualities and competencies that future employers will be looking for, whether that is when they are seeking part time role or a full time, future career. I was in fantastic company on the day, with business volunteers across a broad section of potential careers from property to the British Army and the NHS. I’d like to give the students who attended a special mention as they brought such positive attitudes on the day - it was a pleasure to spend the day with them all.”
