The Christmas Day Dinner in Richmond

We are very proud that one of our staff members will be volunteering at The Christmas Day Dinner in Richmond this year.

This fantastic initiative was started in 2013 by Poet and University of Manchester Chancellor, Lemn Sissay. People from all walks of life within the local community come together to provide a special and fun-filled Christmas day for young adult care leavers aged between the ages of 18 and 25 who otherwise would be alone on Christmas Day.

The event will create a special day for people who may never have had that experience or even more, had very negative experiences at Christmas, to create new memories and bring people together as one ‘family’.

People of all ages and backgrounds are pooling their energies and resources to create a traditional, family-feel Christmas Day for care leavers aged between 18 and 25.

To support this worthwhile cause, Stubbings will also be making a donation, to support the day's activities.
