Act now to take advantage of this pivotal home buying scheme!

In just over a year, the Government Help to Buy scheme is due to come to an end. The scheme, which first launched in April 2013, has helped thousands of would-be home owners step onto the property ladder and own their own home.

By enabling purchasers to buy with as little as a 5% deposit and supporting them with a Government loan of up to 20% of the purchase price (this goes up to 40% in London), the scheme has eased the costs for many buyers struggling to secure a large enough deposit, or to meet strict lending criteria.

To date, all of SUR’s residential developments, have offered this scheme to our purchasers. At Milestone in Chalvey , our first development, 78% of purchasers opted to use Help to Buy. At Wexham Green, our second development, a collection of 104 family homes on the outskirts of the town, 50% of purchasers used it. Here at Novus Apartments, the scheme has yet again proved invaluable – with 60% of our buyers to date choosing Help to Buy to assist them with their purchase.
