Potential purchasers could get some 'Help to Buy' in Southall

On Saturday 5th October, Mackenzie Homes will be hosting a dedicated Help to Buy event at its recently launched RUB1X development in Southall. Purchasers will have an opportunity to view the new show apartment here and to access information and advice regarding the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.

The event aims to inform buyers and existing homeowners about how they could make use of the London Help to Buy scheme to secure a new home at RUB1X. Purchasers looking to secure one of the stylish one or two bedroom, high specification apartments at RUB1X could access the London Help to Buy scheme, enabling them to benefit from a Government loan of up to 40% (interest free for the first 5 years), which means they could purchase with just a 5% deposit and a 55% mortgage.*

The event will run between 10am and 5pm and will be by appointment only. Those attending on the day will also have the opportunity to gain advice from an Independent Financial Advisor. Places are being offered on a first come, first served basis, so interested buyers are being urged to act quickly to secure themselves a slot.

London Help to Buy is a Government backed scheme, which is accessible for all movers – not just first-time buyers. You can own 100% of your home with just a 5% deposit and a 55% mortgage. With a London Help to Buy Equity Loan the Government lends you up to 40% of the cost of your newly built home, so you’ll only need a 5% cash deposit and a 55% mortgage to make up the rest. This means you own 100% of your home and you can take advantage of lower mortgage repayments. You won’t be charged loan fees on the 40% loan for the first five years of owning your home. London Help to Buy is available on new homes with a value up to £600,000.
