From early consultancy to a sell-out success for a national housebuilder

In 2017 we were appointed by Wates Residential to support the launch and subsequent sales at Daedalus Village. The flagship residential development in Lee-on-Solent was a partnership between Wates Residential and Homes England and delivered 200 new family homes.

The Brief
Stubbings was initially appointed to input into the early stages of this residential scheme, advising throughout the early planning stages, inputting into key elements from specification and layouts to planning and delivering the launch of the homes for sale.

The Approach
Stubbings worked closely with the Wates team to ensure the successful delivery and future sales success of their residential scheme. From delivering an in-depth land report to devising and delivering a detailed sales and marketing strategy and managing the set-up of the sales suite on site, Stubbings played a pivotal role throughout. Off-plan sales commenced in early 2019, with show homes available to view from September 2019. Stubbings installed a dedicated sales team on site, who handled the entire customer journey, from initial enquiry through to completion and customer handovers. Stubbings managed the overall marketing for the scheme and secured multiple, customer testimonials.

Progress
The development at Daedalus Village was a sell-out success – proving Wates’ best-selling development in 2019/20.

We instructed Stubbings during the early stages of our development in Lee on the Solent. They added value to the scheme during the planning process with in-valuable feedback on designs and specification. The team developed a comprehensive marketing strategy, which resulted in a successful off-plan launch and subsequent sales momentum – in fact it was our best-selling development in 2019/20. The feedback from our customers regarding the very professional service that the Stubbings team have provided was overwhelmingly positive.
